The Story Behind WildHeart Remedies
Hi, I’m Linda. I’m a wife, a mom, a horse lover, and a farm girl in British Columbia. I’ve worked at my dad’s steel company and at a feed store, and I’ve always loved being busy and working with my hands. Long days with my animals, time on the farm, hunting, and being with my family are a big part of who I am.
My health challenges have been part of my life for a long time. An accident when I was young injured my airway and back. I lived with IBS for years and later had a hysterectomy. I’ve also faced ITP, lichen planus, arthritis, and degenerative disc disease, as well as a mild heart attack.
Along with those experiences came hair loss, pain, weakness, sleepless nights, depression, and anxiety. At one point, the emotional strain became so much that I struggled to cope. I spent more time at doctors’ appointments and having tests than I wanted to, often coming home with more questions while missing precious time with my family.
Some days, I couldn’t even get out of bed. My husband, daughter, and best friend cared for me and took over the daily chores. My daughter even missed school to stay home and help me. Some of the medications I was prescribed left me feeling unable to do much. I was grateful for the people beside me, but it hurt to see how much they had to carry.
I wanted to understand more about the ingredients I was putting into my body. I began learning about herbs, nutrition, and whole-food powders, paying attention to my own needs and asking questions. That search became part of the reason I started WildHeart Remedies.
Today, I’m able to enjoy so much of what I missed. I have more energy to work long days with horses, care for my own horses’ feet, and lift with a strength I haven’t felt since my twenties. I’m enjoying farming, hunting, and time with my family again. I don’t take any of it for granted.
WildHeart Remedies grew from that experience. I make small-batch teas and wellness powders with care, and I want people to know what goes into the products they choose. I also know how important it is to feel heard. Whether you’re looking for a regular blend or want to discuss ingredients for a custom option, I’d love to hear from you.
With care,
Linda
